What is a panel?
A panel consists of generally three to five participants, preferably from multiple institutions, who present diverse perspectives on a topic related to computer science education, typically describing a variety of viewpoints or experiences. Panels are held during a 75-minute conference session, and presentations should be kept to a length that allows about a third of the time to be devoted to discussion among panelists and with the audience. Panel abstracts must not exceed the length of two single spaced pages.
What should a panel abstract contain?
Panel abstracts must include:
- A descriptive title
- Email and U.S. mail address for the contact person for the panel
- List of panelists. names, positions, and affiliations
- Short position statements by the panelists
- Short biographies of the panelists. The biographies may go beyond the two page abstract limit, in which case the biographies should be removed when submitting the camera-ready copy, which must not exceed two pages
How should a proposal abstract be formatted?
Your submission must be in Microsoft Word format or a PDF file (note that LaTeX is not accepted). For accepted proposals, a camera-ready copy must be submitted as both a Word document and a PDF file. When using Word, do not change its default formatting settings.
What do I include in the final manuscript submission?
The following items need to be in your final manuscript submission:
- final manuscript (paper or abstracts), which should include all Latex source files (.tex, .bib, and image files) or the Word doc (with image files) and the generated PDF files.
- copyright release form (see Copyright Release Form section of https://lubaochuan.github.io/ccsc-editor/authors.html)
Submit your panel proposal using EasyChair.
