Hackfest 2015

Open Source Comes to Campus CCSCNE

At Hackfest 2015 – Open Source Comes to CCSCNE, attendees will learn about free and open source software: what it is, how it works, and why people contribute to it.  We’ll teach you about common tools like IRC, issue trackers, and git as well as community norms.  We’ll also talk about opportunities for newcomers like Google Summer of Code and how you can become an open source professional.  Finally, we’ll help you make your first contributions to open source projects.
